I’ve been busy working on behalf of Community Arts North West to facilitate the national Platforma Festival of Arts + Refugees at The University of Manchester. I’m now collating evaluation, which indicates that around 700 people took part in the 2-day conference and accompanying series of public talks, performances, exhibitions and workshops. Thanks to everyone who contributed, and to our amazing team of volunteers. Here’s some of the feedback recieved from delegates:

“Inclusive, informative, moving, thought-provoking and memorable.”

“Really welcoming, great sense of solidarity between delegates and the work which is taking place.”

“We had a brilliant experience that wouldn’t have been possible without CAN’s patience and support. Everyone really had a great time and came back feeling invigorated and excited about the potential of the future for Refugee Arts.”
